I have a bit of feedback.what the hell are "R.B.", "RWE", "ISC", "Me", "Pr", "Sm", Sp", and "POS"? There's nothing to indicate what they are. It'll get there, and I agree belts could be more intuitive. Regarding clicking from one port to the other and editing after, it's a bit more work, currently the belt is a visual element and isn't interactable, hence the control nodes so actually detecting "clicking" on a belt isn't currently part of the tool. So for now they are more simplistic, but going beyond that is certainly in the plans. For development it was easier to break the task down into smaller more manageable chunks, hence the conveyor button and belts being completely separate. The original belts I implemented in the tool did link to the building ports, and the code to achieve this is still around so I can re-implement it. If I recall, I made the layering of the buildings related to their placement on the vertical axis, I'll look into easier selection of the building you want when they overlap. Recipe and clock speed is in the roadmap! Multi select is on the list for sure, it's a bit more time consuming to implement than other things, but I agree with you, things can be a chore without it. Discord is the main place I'm taking suggestions, bug reports and displaying the roadmap, so feel free to drop by. As I said, it's in development so there are missing graphics here and there and you might encounter a bug (hopefully not!), but I think I'm at a stage where it's getting more functional and stable. It started off as a small drag and drop program of simple blocks, but now includes an import export system to share designs, pipe & belt systems, and a full menu system (scope creep is a wonderful thing). Īs a lover of Satisfactory and being fond of perfectly aligned factories, I was getting tired of using graph paper, google sheets, or other drawing programs, so I decided to build my own tool as a bit of development practice. For a while now I've been working on SaLT (Satisfactory Layout Tool), it's still in development, but feel free to check it out at or join the discord at.
